The Mintion W1 is a ready-to-use electric filament spool winder designed for Bambu Lab AMS users. It makes it easy to respool third-party, cardboard, non-standard, and bulk filament onto Bambu reusable spools—without printing dozens of parts, sourcing bearings, assembling gears, or using a power drill.

A linear-rail filament guide helps distribute filament more consistently across the spool, while adjustable source-spool rollers support different spool sizes, including bulk filament spools up to 3kg.

Choose Silent/Normal Mode for controlled respooling or Turbo Mode when speed matters—a full 1kg spool can be rewound in under 4 minutes in our testing.*

Whether you want to make third-party filament more AMS-friendly, split a 3kg bulk spool, or rescue filament from a damaged spool, the W1 makes respooling faster, easier, and more convenient.

We distribute worldwide via 4PX, EMS, DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS, and particular freight companies for unique items. We offer Free Shipping when the order is equal to or over $20. 

 

Order Confirmation & Shipment

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we will arrange the shipment and send you the tracking information within 24 hours, then you will receive an email with the tracking number. Title and Risk of Loss

Inspection and Claims for Damage in Transit

Customer shall carefully examine all deliveries of Products made hereunder and within five (5) days of the receipt notify our shop of any alleged error, shortage, defect, or non-conformity of any such Products. Any failure by Customer to examine and report shall constitute a waiver of any claim or right of Customer against our shop arising hereunder or by law concerning any such error, shortage, defect, or non-conformity reasonably discoverable by such examination Customer shall make any claims by Customer for damage or loss in transistor against the carrier.

What is the Mintion W1?
The Mintion W1 is a ready-to-use electric filament respooler and filament spool winder designed primarily for Bambu Lab AMS users. It transfers filament from third-party, cardboard, non-standard and bulk spools onto Bambu reusable spools.
Why should I respool third-party filament?
Some third-party spools may not rotate smoothly or consistently inside an AMS because of differences in spool width, rim shape, material or deformation. Respooling lets you keep the filament while changing to a Bambu reusable spool.
Does the W1 support 3kg filament spools?
Yes. The source-spool system supports compatible filament spools weighing up to 3kg. Bulk filament can be divided across multiple Bambu reusable spools.
How fast can the W1 respool a 1kg spool?
In our testing, Turbo Mode can rewind a full 1kg spool in under 4 minutes. Actual time may vary depending on filament and spool conditions.
What is the linear-rail filament guide for?
The sliding filament guide moves along a linear rail to provide more stable filament guidance and more consistent winding across the spool width.
Is the W1 fully automatic?
No. The W1 provides motorized winding and guided filament distribution. Users still install the spools, secure the filament, monitor winding, and stop the machine when needed.
Can the W1 handle a damaged spool?
Yes, in many cases. If a damaged outer rim prevents the spool from rotating on the standard rollers, the optional downloadable cantilever holder can support the spool by its center hub.
Can the W1 untangle filament automatically?
No. However, users can reduce the winding speed and manually guide crossed or unevenly wound filament.
